Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, It is hard to believe that April is half way over. It has been a busy past few weeks with a total of fifteen churches visited since the last time I wrote. Last month I had the opportunity to visit a close friend, Wayne Cook, in New York. Wayne has just started Hope Baptist Church in Middletown and I was able to be with him at his first service. The few days before were spent passing out literature and inviting people. The Lord blessed by allowing a total of eleven people to be present at the first service and thirteen the following week. In the forefront of my mind is my beautiful fiance and our upcoming wedding. All of the major plans have been completed with just a few small details to finish up in these last weeks before the wedding. Right now we are in the process of trying to find a place to rent after we are married. Please keep this in your prayers. She is rather high maintenance and would prefer not to live in a cardboard box (it would make no difference to me). Rebekah will be graduating from Pensacola Christian College on the 7th of May and then will be traveling to Georgia for an interview with Macedonia. I hope she passes or else I’ll be sending out applications for another wife. Please continue to pray for the Peru Bible College and that funds be raised for this work. The Bible College is a vital part of the ministry in Arequipa and has been on my heart and mind a great deal lately. The finances required to support the college are increasing while the support is decreasing. We praise God for the churches and individuals who have helped financially, but there is still a great need. Please pray that God will continue to provide supporting churches so that the work can continue. Upcoming events: A Pastor’s Fellowship will be held on the 5th and 6th of May in Alpharetta, Georgia at Vision Baptist Church. Also coming up is the Our Generation Student Leadership Conference on June 2nd through 6th. This event will also be hosted by Vision Baptist Church. Please keep these events in your prayers and feel free to sign up and attend through www.visionbaptist.com. Thank you for all of your support through finances and prayers. I am expecting God will work through the obedience of His people. I thank God for each one of you and pray that He will bless your ministry as well. Missionary to Peru, Jeremy Hall |
